Fix the download process

Any app that requires 500MB or more in a download should know how to do it in the background. Why do I have to sit here staring at the library screen until the entire issue downloads? If you leave the app, the DL pauses. If you turn off the screen, it resets completely. This is ridiculous.

Poor app - lost months of content with iOS 7 upgrade

Update - October 27 app update fixed bug ...all content on iPad OK and accessible. Seems coincident with iOS upgrade - now can only ever see the last edition downloaded. Cannot see rest of monthly issues. Whats going on here? Another example of the pitiful shortcomings around Wired circulation ... Rather ironic for a tech-related mag!

Wont take password, even after successful (unnecessary) re-set. Runs subscriber around in circles.

Cant restore purchase to retrieve my subscription.

Just says restoring purchases failed.

Doesnt Work with iOS 8.1 Upgrade

Cannot open app-just get a blank screen with iOS 8.1 upgrade (on iPhone 6 plus). Please fix app or refund me my paid-for subscription for undeliverable issues.

Great content but app crashes frequently

I love the content and Wired always has great, well-written articles, but the app keeps crashing when I load it. At times it gets so bad it crashes my whole phone. This needs to be fixed on iPhone 6 ASAP since the app is unusable right now.

Cant even get access

I subscribed to the magazine at the end of November, and downloaded the app. The app will not recognize my account at all, and repeated messages to the publisher only get (1) instructions on how to download the app and log in (which do not work), and (2) a promise to get back to me in a few days (which so far has never happened). Ironic that a month and a half later, a magazine like Wired still cannot fix their app or subscriber accounts.

Lame....no US Wired IPhone app!?!

I have wired magazine on my iPad but after a long back and forth I discovered there no iPhone edition!? Absurd, the freakin magazine is called wired magazine!? Just canceled my iPad edition. Thanks customer service for two weeks of back and forth.

Broken log in -- dont buy until fixed

I subscribed but now cannot log in. The log in uses a username, not email but you can never recover your username if you forget it. Ive tried contacting the publisher but to no avail. So they keep billing me for a magazine I cant read. There no contact details in the app at all -- unacceptable user functionality for a product aimed at the apple audience. Dont buy it until this backward log in feature is fixed.

Paid for subscription. Cant log in.

I paid for my subscription, and I cant log in with my information. I contacted their customer service, and they told me they didnt handle Apple Store transactions. I told them I purchased the subscription on their website. They asked me for proof of payment. I sent a copy of my statement, and a print screen of the confirmation I received on their website. They told me they couldnt help me because they only handle UK transactions. This is the worst customer service ever, and now Im going to have to contact my bank to get rid of the recurring charge.

Subscribed and nothing.

Super disappointed since I love to spread the good word about Wired. Please fix.

Worst app ever

Just to add to the chorus of discount, I too have a paid for subscription and cannot log onto the Newsstand portal for Wired magazine. I have verified IDs, changed password, etc to no avail. Get it together Condé Nast. You took my money now provide the service.

okay - your email notifications work, hooray! now figure out how to actually provide the digital copy of the magazine you just notified me of - seriously, what a joke!

Fix. Your. iPad. App. NOW.

I recently purchased an iPad pro and needed to restore my existing iPad magazine subscription. Every magazine subscription successfully restored *except* for my Wired UK subscription. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app numerous times, logging out of and into my Apple ID...and always the same error, "restoring purchases failed". This *despite* the fact that I am logged into the same Apple ID on my iPhone and have no trouble accessing my subscription on the iPhone app. Additionally, every time I have attempted to contact customer service about this, I have been greeted by unhelpful form letters (one informing me that "we do not publish this magazine" from *the very email given as customer service*), email bouncebacks or customer service reps that just could not help at all. This, quite frankly execrable, level of customer service is profoundly unacceptable.

Jan 18 2015:- App Still Crap - Cant Sign In

App does not work. Cant sign in with either account number or E-mail. Seems from reviews everybody has this problem. Remove from store until works!

Massive fail for a tech magazine

This app will not allow login even with a valid account number. Embarrassing failure for an outfit that is supposed to be at the cutting edge of technology.

Utter crap

Paid for a subscription and it wont sign me in.
